LUXEMBOURG, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- No. 1-seeded Victoria Azarenka dropped just one game Thursday in a second-round victory at the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open tennis tournament.

Azarenka dispatched Alberta Brianti 6-0, 6-1 in 68 minutes, winning 69 percent of the points in the match. After the first-set shutout, Brianti held serve for the only time in the match before Azarenka ran off another six straight games.

She sealed the win at love for her sixth break in seven receiving games.

Qualifier Anne Keothavong ousted fifth-seeded Ana Ivanovic 6-3, 6-2 with six breaks in nine games. Keothavong capitalized on Ivanovic's second serve, winning 20 of the 23 points in that situation.

Lucie Hradecka beat Alexandra Cadantu 6-3, 6-4; Anastasija Sevastova ran by Simona Halep 6-2, 6-2; and Bibiane Schoofs defeated Rebecca Marino 1-6, 6-1, 7-5 in Thursday's other matches.
