SOUTHAMPTON, Bermuda, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Keegan Bradley and Rory McIlroy each fired a 4-under 67 Tuesday to grab a share of the first-round lead at the 2011 PGA Grand Slam of Golf.

A small field of four players, including the winners of this year's major tournaments, are competing in a two-day event at Port Royal Golf Course in Bermuda.

PGA Champion Bradley and U.S. Open winner McIlroy -- along with Masters champ Charl Schwartzel and British Open winner Darren Clarke -- are included in the field.

Schwartzel managed a 3-over 74 to claim third place Clarke was stuck in last place after stumbling to 6-over 77.

Bradley led by four strokes over both McIlroy and Schwartzel midway through the round, but McIlroy charged back into contention with back-to-back birdies at 14 and 15.

Bradley cooled off on the back nine, carding a triple-bogey at the par-3 16th.
