CHICAGO, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Tyler Seguin sent a wrist shot past Corey Crawford Saturday for a shootout goal that gave the Boston Bruins a 3-2 decision over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Tim Thomas stopped subsequent shootout tries by Patrick Kane and Patrick Sharp to secure the victory.

The Bruins' regulation goals were by Chris Kelly and Nathan Horton. Thomas finished with 27 saves as Boston corked a two-game losing streak and ended Chicago's two-game win skein.

Kane and Bryan Bickell got Chicago's goals, while Crawford notched 35 saves in a game featuring the previous two Stanley Cup winners -- the Bruins this past season over Vancouver and the Blackhawks over Philadelphia in 2010.
