VILAMOURA, Portugal, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Englishman Simon Khan shot a 6-under-par 66 Friday and took a one-stroke lead at the halfway point in the Portugal Masters.
Khan was at 13-under 131, a stroke in front of three players: Felipe Agular (66), Rhys Davies (67) and first-round leader James Kingston (68) at the Oceanico Victoria Golf Course in Vilamoura.
David Dixon and Christian Nilsson, with 64s, and Johan Edfors (67) were another shot back at 11-under 133.
"I started great, birdied the first two holes and that settled me down quickly," Khan said.
"I can't remember the last time I was leading. It was probably the Scottish Open with Graeme McDowell in 2008, something like that. But I enjoy being up there."
