SHANGHAI, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Andy Murray won his 11th straight match Friday, beating qualifier Matthew Ebden to move on to the semifinals of the Shanghai Masters.

Murray, looking for his third straight title on the ATP's Asian schedule, cruised to a 6-3, 6-2 win.

David Ferrer knocked off Andy Roddick in another quarterfinal match, coming from behind for a 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 7-6 (7-2) decision.

Murray will play Kei Nishikori, who beat Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-4, 6-3 and Ferrer goes against Feliciano Lopez, a 6-2, 6-4 winner over Florian Mayer, in the semifinals.

The last loss for Murray, the defending champion in Shanghai, was to Rafael Nadal in the U.S. Open semis in September.
