ST. LOUIS, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Ryan Braun put Milwaukee ahead in the fifth Thursday and Randy Wolf staged a comeback to draw the Brewers even in the NLCS with a 4-2 win over St. Louis.

With the best-of-seven series deadlocked at 2-2, the Cardinals will host Game 5 Friday. The series will move back to Milwaukee Sunday.

The contest was tied 2-2 when Nyjer Morgan opened the Milwaukee fifth with a double off starter Kyle Lohse. Morgan moved to third on a groundout by Mark Kotsay and, after Mitchell Boggs relieved Lohse, Braun delivered a single to left on a 1-2 pitch that brought in the go-ahead run.

Rickie Weeks supplied an insurance run for the Brewers in the sixth when he raced in from third on a fielding error by second baseman Ryan Theriot on a grounder from George Kottaras.

In his most recent outing, which came in Game 4 of Milwaukee's division series against Arizona, Wolf was roughed up for seven runs on eight hits in three innings. The Brewers lost that game 10-6, but came back to win Game 5 and advance past the Diamondbacks.

Wolf allowed two runs on six hits in seven innings against the Cardinals, striking out seven.

Francisco Rodriguez and John Axford each worked an inning of relief with Axford earning his third save of the playoffs.

Matt Holliday and Alan Craig each hit a solo homer to give the Cardinals a 2-0 lead through three innings, but Milwaukee tied it in the fourth on an RBI double by Jerry Hairston and a run-scoring single from Yuniesky Betancourt.

Zack Greinke will be on the mound for the Brewers in Game 5. Jamie Garcia will get the start for the Cardinals.
