Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI

DALLAS, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Loui Eriksson scored the equalizer with 28 seconds remaining Monday and the Dallas Stars went on to defeat Phoenix 2-1 in a shootout.
The Stars were held scoreless throughout the game until they pulled goalie Kari Lehtonen for an extra attacker in the final minute. With time ticking down, the puck came out to the left point, where defenseman Sheldon Souray unleashed a slap shot that Eriksson was able to tip past Phoenix netminder Mike Smith.
After a scoreless overtime, Eriksson and Mike Ribeiro scored in the shootout, giving Dallas its second win in three games to start the season.
Lehtonen finished with 40 saves on 41 shots.
Radim Vrbata scored and Smith turned aside 24-of-25 shots for the Coyotes.
