NFL: New England 30, New York Jets 21

FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Oct. 9 (UPI) -- BenJarvus Green-Ellis scored twice en route to a career-high 136 yards Sunday, powering New England Patriots past the New York Jets 30-21.

Tom Brady went 24-of-33 through the air for 321 yards and a touchdown with an interception as the Patriots (4-1) prevailed in a clash of AFC East rivals.

Brady's favorite target was Wes Welker, who hauled down five passes for 136 yards.

Mark Sanchez piled up 166 yards with two scoring strikes, posting a 16-of-26 passing efficiency as the Jets fell to 2-3 on the season.

Santonio Holmes and Jeremy Kerley each caught a Sanchez TD toss.
