NHL: Chicago 5, Dallas 2

CHICAGO, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Dave Bolland fired in a pair of goals and Patrick Sharp added a tally and an assist Saturday in the Chicago Blackhawks' 5-2 win over Dallas.

Andrew Brunette and Jonathan Toews also scored for the Blackhawks, who won the second contest of a home-and-home, season-opening series between the teams.

Dallas won Friday's season-opener 2-1.

Corey Crawford turned aside 19-of-21 shots for the Blackhawks.

Andrew Raycroft made 26 saves while Vernon Fiddler and Sheldon Souray scored for the Stars.
