Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Michael Allen equaled the course record Friday and took a three-shot lead after one round of the Insperity Championship.
Allen, who never won on the regular circuit and whose only victory on the Champions Tour came at the 2009 Senior PGA, shot a 9-under 63 over the TPC-Woodlands course. That tied the score posted in the final round last year by Fred Couples in his march to the title.
The 66 fired by John Cook gave him second place by himself. Mark Calcavecchia and Tom Lehman shared third at 67 while Couples, who will captain the U.S. team in next month's Presidents Cup, was among those at 68.
Lehman went into the tournament with a lead of 400 points over Calcavecchia in the year-long race for $1 million.
