
ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Mike Napoli's two-run single highlighted a big fourth inning Saturday that carried Texas to an 8-6 win over Tampa Bay in Game 2 of their divisional series.
Trailing 3-0 entering the frame, the Rangers scored five times to grab control of the game and hung on for the win, evening their best-of-five American League Division Series with the Rays.
Texas also scored on a hit-by-pitch and a wild pitch in the uprising, during which they sent 10 men to the plate.
Mitch Moreland drove in two runs, including a solo homer, and Ian Kinsler added a two-run double for Texas.
Derek Holland (1-0) earned the victory for the Rangers, yielding only one earned run over five innings, and Neftali Feliz notched the save.
Tampa Bay's James Shields (0-1) was tagged for seven runs on eight hits over five frames.
Evan Longoria clouted a three-run homer and Matt Joyce added a two run shot for the Rays.
