Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI
NEW YORK, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Drew Stubbs' suicide squeeze bunt in the 13th inning scored Juan Francisco with the go-ahead and the Cincinnati Reds outlasted the New York Mets 5-4.
Francisco tripled off Dale Thayer (0-3) with one out in the 13th and raced home as Stubbs laid down a perfect sacrifice bunt, giving Cincinnati the lead.
Reds closer Francisco Cordero was wild in the next half-inning, issuing four walks, but still managed his 37th save as Nick Evans was caught stealing and Justin Turner lined into a game-ending double play.
Sam LeCure (2-1) collected the win with a scoreless 12th inning.
Jay Bruce went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and Joey Votto connected for a solo shot in the victory.
Jose Reyes homered twice among his three hits for Mets, raising his National League-best batting average to .336 -- one point better than Milwaukee's Ryan Braun with one game to play.
