NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Mark Ingram scored his first career touchdown in the fourth quarter Sunday, which turned out to be decisive in New Orleans' 40-33 victory over Houston.

The 2009 Heisman Trophy winner out of Alabama found the end zone for the first time in his NFL career on a 13-yard touchdown run late in the game, putting the Saints (2-1) ahead for good in a see-saw affair.

Houston (2-1) had taken a 33-32 lead on the previous possession when Kevin Walter came up with a deflected pass from Matt Schaub and scampered 20 yards for a TD.

Drew Brees racked up 370 yards and three scoring strikes while surrendering a pair of interceptions for New Orleans.

Schaub, meanwhile, completed 22-of-39 passes for 373 yards and three touchdowns with a pick-off.
