CLEVELAND, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Colt McCoy connected with Mohamed Massaquoi on a TD strike with 43 seconds left Sunday, handing the Cleveland Browns a 17-16 victory over Miami.
The Dolphins had taken a 16-10 lead with 3:23 left in the game thanks to a Dan Carpenter field goal, but McCoy promptly marched Cleveland to the Miami 14, then lofted a pass to the right side of the end zone to a leaping Massaquoi.
The Browns (2-1) wrapped up the win when Mike Adams intercepted a Chad Henne pass on the ensuing possession.
McCoy managed only 19-of-39 passing efficiency for the game, but went 9-of-14 on the decisive drive, ending with 210 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
The Dolphins, meanwhile, fell to 0-3 as Henne went 19-of-29 for 255 yards and a touchdown.
