SAN DIEGO, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Clayton Kershaw notched his 21st win Sunday, giving up two runs in 7 1/3 innings to boost the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 6-2 win over San Diego.

Kershaw (21-5) sharpened his credentials for a National League Cy Young Award bid with the outing, in which he scattered four hits and a walk while fanning six.

Rod Barajas belted a two-run homer and Aaron Miles added two RBI as the Dodgers won for the third time in four games.

San Diego's Corey Luebke (6-10) was tagged with the loss after giving up four runs (three earned) on five hits in a six-inning start.

Aaron Cunningham homered for San Diego.
