Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Cincinnati's Dontelle Willis held Pittsburgh at bay for six innings Sunday, earning his first win in 15 months in the Reds' 5-4 decision over the Pirates.
The veteran pitcher also hit a go-ahead, two-run double in the sixth inning for the Reds, who salvaged one win their three-game series with the Pirates.
Willis (1-6) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks. He fanned six in logging his first victory since June 5, 2010, when he was with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Francisco Cordero earned his 35th save despite yielding an RBI double to Neil Walker in the bottom of the ninth.
Daniel Moskos (1-1) absorbed the loss after surrendering the decisive double to Willis.
Chase d'Arnaud delivered a two-run triple for the Pirates.
