SEOUL, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez and Galina Voskoboeva will face each other in the finals of the Hansol Korea Open after straight-set wins Saturday.

Martinez Sanchez, the No. 6 seed, defeated Klara Zakopolova 6-3, 6-2 and Voskoboeva ousted fifth-seeded Polona Hercog 6-1, 6-4 in the semifinals. Their meeting in the title match Sunday will be the second of their career. Voskoboeva took a tight three-set decision over Martinez Sanchez in 2008.

Voskoboeva lost her serve just once in the win over Hercog despite having to deal with 10 break points. She took control of the match in the first set, losing six points in her four service games and winning half the points when receiving.

Martinez Sanchez beat Zakopolova for the first time in three meetings by recording six breaks over Zakopolova's nine service games. She won 59 percent of the points in the match.

Martinez Sanchez, who won at Bad Gastein, Austria, earlier this year, is seeking her fifth career tournament title. Voskoboeva is appearing in her first WTA final.

The Korea Open champion takes home $37,000 and the runner-up earns $19,000. Hercog and Zakopolova each were given $10,200 for advancing to the semifinals.
