Brent Morel added a solo shot in the fourth and drove in another run with an RBI groundout for the White Sox, who evened their three-game series with the Royals.

John Danks (8-12) earned the win, yielding three runs on six hits over 7 1/3 innings, walking one and striking out eight.

Kansas City's Everett Teaford (2-1) was tagged for five runs on six hits in a five-inning start.
