EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Eli Manning tossed a pair of TD passes and Michael Boley returned a fumble for a score Monday, boosting the New York Giants to a 28-16 win over St. Louis.

Manning's second scoring strike of the game, a 22-yarder to Domenik Hixon, came 21 seconds before halftime and staked the Giants (1-1) to a 21-6 lead.

That score came 10 minutes after Giants linebacker Boley had put New York ahead 14-6 when he picked up a Sam Bradford fumble and ran 65 yards for a touchdown.

Manning finished 18-of-29 through the air for 200 yards with one interception and Brandon Jacobs carried the ball 16 times for 50 yards and a score for the Giants, who bounced back after a season-opening loss to Washington.

Bradford completed 22-of-46 pass attempts for 331 yards and a 19-yard TD toss to Danario Alexander for the Rams (0-2).

Alexander finished with three catches for 122 yards while Mike Sims Walker hauled down six passes for 92 yards.
