Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

PRATTVILLE, Ala., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Sixteen-year-old Lexi Thompson became the youngest winner in LPGA Tour history Sunday, cruising to a five-shot victory at the the Navistar LPGA Classic.
Thompson registered a final-round, 2-under-par 70, finishing at 17-under 271.
The teenager demolished the former youngest-winner record for both an 18-hole LPGA event and a full tournament. Paula Creamer won the 2005 Sybase Classic at the age of 18 years, nine months, 17 days.
Thompson was doused with water -- rather than champagne -- on the 18th green as her fellow golfers celebrated her accomplishment.
Finishing a distant second was Tiffany Joh (4-under 68) at minus-12. Angela Stanford shot a 6-under 66 to claim third at 11-under 277.
