EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Mark Sanchez tossed a pair of touchdown passes, one of them to Dustin Keller, sparking the New York Jets to a 32-3 steamrolling of Jacksonville.
Sanchez went 17-of-24 through the air for 182 yards and two interceptions while Keller caught six passes for 101 yards for the Jets (2-0), who won their second straight to start the season.
Santonio Holmes made three grabs for 42 yards and a touchdown and Shonn Greene rushed the ball 16 times for 49 yards and a score for New York.
The Jets absorbed a blow, however, when they lost all-pro center Nick Mangold to an ankle injury late in the first quarter.
The Jaguars (1-1) got 88 rushing yards on 18 carries from Maurice Jones-Drew but quarterback Luke McCown could manage to complete only 6-of-19 passes for 59 yards and four interceptions.
