NFL: New Orleans 30, Chicago 13

NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Drew Brees lit up the Bears' defense for 270 yards and three touchdowns Sunday, sparking the New Orleans Saints to a 30-13 victory over Chicago.

Brees completed 26-of-37 passes, and Devery Henderson compiled 103 yards and a score on three receptions for the Saints (1-1).

Darren Sproles added eight receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown while Mark Ingram scampered for 51 yards in the victory.

The Saints shut down Chicago's aerial game, holding Jay Cutler to just 19-of-45 passing for 244 yards.

Matt Forte made 10 receptions and ran for 49 yards on 10 carries, totaling 117 yards for the Bears (1-1).
