MIAMI, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Matt Schaub connected on two touchdown passes and rookie Ben Tate ran for 103 yards Sunday in the Houston Texans' 23-13 win over Miami.
Schaub hit Owen Daniels on a 4-yard score in the second quarter for 13-3 lead and hooked up with Andre Johnson on a 23-yard scoring strike with 10 minutes left to ice the victory. Schaub finished 21-of-29 passing for 230 yards.
Tate -- subbing for an injured Arian Foster -- accumulated his 103 yards on 23 carries for the Texans (2-0). Foster ran for 33 yards on 10 carries before aggravating a hamstring injury and missing the second half.
The Dolphins (0-2) were led by Chad Henne, who threw for 170 yards with one touchdown and an interception on 12-of-30 passing.
Rookie Daniel Thomas carried the ball 18 times for 107 yards for Miami.
