SEATTLE, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Adrian Beltre's two-run homer in the fourth inning was the key blow for Texas Sunday, powering the Rangers to a 3-0 decision over Seattle.

His blast backed Matt Harrison (13-9), who tossed 6 2/3 scoreless innings, during which he gave up six hits, walked two and struck out nine as the American League West-leading Rangers won the three-game series.

With the win, Harrison became the fifth Rangers pitcher with 13 victories this year -- a first in club history.

Elvis Andrus extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a 3-for-5 performance that included a run-scoring double.

Seattle's Felix Hernandez (14-13) was touched for three runs on nine hits over seven innings.
