DENVER, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Jason Giambi and Jordan Pacheco each drove in three runs and the Colorado Rockies bashed four homers Saturday in their 12-7 victory over Cincinnati.
Giambi smacked a two-run shot, capping a four-run uprising in the first inning, and Pacheco went 3-for-5 with a go-ahead solo shot in the fifth for the Rockies, who evened their three-game set with the Reds.
Dexter Fowler and Mark Ellis also went deep in the victory.
Alex White (2-1) got the win despite yielding seven runs (six earned) on eight hits -- including five homers -- over five frames. He didn't issue any walks and struck out five.
Chris Heisey homered twice while Joey Votto (3-for-4), Jay Bruce and Juan Francisco also smacked long balls for the Reds.
Cincinnati's Matt Maloney (0-2) was tagged with the loss after yielding Pacheco's homer in the fifth.
