With another meeting set for Thursday, it's the first time back-to-back sessions have been scheduled since the lockout was imposed July 1, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The newspaper said a sense of urgency has entered the negotiations with the approach of training camp deadlines.

Camps are scheduled to begin Oct. 1, one month before the Nov. 1 start of the regular season.
