DENVER, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Geoff Blum and Paul Goldschmidt each drove in three runs Monday, powering the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 10-7 victory over Colorado.
Blum hit a solo home run and finished 3-for-5 and Justin Upton added a bases-empty home run and scored twice for the Diamondbacks, who won for the 12th time in 13 games.
Wade Miley (3-1) picked up the victory, his third straight, allowing just two runs on six hits with three walks and six strikeouts over seven innings.
The victory enabled the Diamondbacks to hold onto their seven-game lead in the National League West after second-place San Francisco beat the Padres Monday.
Colorado's Esmil Rogers (6-5) absorbed his fourth consecutive defeat, yielding six runs on eight hits with five walks and two strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings.
The Rockies made the game a bit closer in the ninth when Troy Tulowitzki hit a three-run homer.
