CRANS MONTANA, Switzerland, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Thomas Bjorn posted a four-stroke victory Sunday at the European Masters, his second European Tour tournament in as many weeks.

Bjorn, who survived a five-player playoff that took five holes in winning the Johnnie Walker Championship in Scotland Aug. 28, had nine birdies and an eagle en route to a 9-under-par 62 Sunday in winning the European Masters in Switzerland going away.

Sunday's 62 gave Bjorn a 72-hole total of 20-under 264. Martin Kaymer was bogey-free and had a pair of eagles in a closing 65. He was second in the tournament at 16-under.

Third-round leader Jamie Donaldson, who shot 70 in the final round, tied with Rory McIlroy (68 Sunday) and Jaco van Zyl (64) for third at 15-under.

Bjorn opened with a birdie but had a bogey at the fourth hole before running off four consecutive birdies. He had a birdie at the 10th hole only to give that stroke back with a bogey at 12.

He moved into contention with a birdie at 14 and took the lead with a 10-foot eagle putt at the par-5, 516-yard 15th. Birdies at 17 and 18 made for the final margin.
