NORTON, Mass., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Adam Scott's 8-under-par 63 Saturday enabled him to join Charl Schwartzel and Bubba Watson in the lead of the Deutsche Bank Championship after two rounds.
Scott, who won the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational four weeks ago, is knotted with Schwartzel (66) and Watson (64) at 10-under 132.
Brandt Snedeker also carded a 7-under 64 thanks in part to a hole-in-one on the par-three 16th hole at the TPC Boston. He grabbed sole possession of fourth place at minus-9.
Nick Watney finished alone in fifth at 8-under 134 by matching his first-round total of 67.
A contingent of big names were eliminated from the PGA playoffs after missing the cut of 1-over 143. They included Ian Poulter, Brian Gay, Kevin Chappell, Anthony Kim and Stewart Cink.
