HOUSTON, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- George Kottaras hit for the cycle and Craig Counsell smacked his first home run of the year Saturday in the Milwaukee Brewers' 8-2 victory over Houston.
Kottaras socked a solo homer in the fourth inning, tripled in the sixth, singled in the seventh and completed the cycle with a ground-rule double in the ninth.
Counsell, meanwhile, launched a two-run homer in the sixth. His first homer since 2010 made the 41-year-old infielder the oldest player in the major leagues to go deep this season.
Prince Fielder knocked in two runs and Taylor Green added an RBI double for National League Central-leading Milwaukee, which logged its eighth straight win over Houston.
Bud Norris (6-9) surrendered six runs (five earned) on nine hits over 5 1/3 innings for the Astros.
Carlos Lee belted a two-run homer.
