NFL: Arizona 26, Denver 7

GLENDALE, Ariz., Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Richard Bartel threw two touchdown passes Thursday, Jay Feely kicked four field goals and Arizona ended its pre-season with a 26-7 win over Denver.

Bartel completed 12-of-16 passes for 216 yards. Both his scoring passes came in the first period, on throws of 19 yards to LaRod Stephens-Howling and 48 yards to Chansi Stuckey.

Feely's field goals ranged from 25 to 52 yards scattered through the second, third and fourth periods.

Denver did not score until 2:57 remained in the game, the touchdown coming on a 43-yard pass from Tim Tebow to Eron Riley. Tebow was 7-of-11 for 116 yards in his final bid to impress the Denver coaching staff.

Both teams completed their exhibition campaigns at 2-2.

Arizona begins its regular season at home against Carolina. Denver opens by hosting Oakland.
