RICHMOND, Ind., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Multimillionaire pro tennis player Venus Williams is pursuing a degree in business online from an Indiana college, school officials said.

The seven-time Grand Slam event winner is enrolled in a degree-completion program at Indiana University East, campus officials in Richmond, Ind., confirmed Tuesday to the Richmond Palladium-Item.

The 31-year-old former world No. 1 player gave a nod to the school in a tweet Tuesday, the newspaper said.

When fellow student Michael Coyle sent her the Twitter post "go red wolves!!! represent us at the #usopen!," Williams responded "go red wolves!!!

Williams lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
