MLB: New York Mets 5, Florida 1 (2nd game)

NEW YORK, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Dillon Gee held the Marlins to one run over six innings Monday and the New York Mets completed a doubleheader sweep with a 5-1 win over Florida.

Gee (12-5) surrendered six hits, walked two and fanned six for New York, which won the first game 2-1.

Gee allowed a solo homer to Greg Dobbs in the sixth.

David Wright had two hits and drove in a pair of runs and Willie Harris contributed an RBI single for the Mets.

Florida's Ricky Nolasco (9-10) was touched for four runs on nine hits over 6 2/3 innings.

The Marlins lost for the ninth time in their last 11 games.
