Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

KANSAS CITY, Kan., Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Bobby Warshaw capped a furious second-half comeback Saturday that saw FC Dallas overcome a 2-0 deficit and hang a 3-2 defeat on Sporting Kansas City.
Kei Kamara and Omar Bravo scored goals in the 22nd and 68th minutes, giving Sporting a 2-0 lead, but Daniel Hernandez quickly pulled a goal back for Dallas in the 70th minute.
After KC went down a man, losing striker Teal Bunbury in the 76th minute to a second yellow card, Dallas (13-7-7) quickly capitalized as Maicon Santos scored the equalizer in the 89th minute.
Warshaw then provided the game-winner in injury time for Dallas, which snapped a three-game winless streak and kept pace with Seattle in the Western Conference.
Sporting fell to 9-8-9.
