SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Alex Smith racked up 126 yards on 8-of-13 passing Saturday in the San Francisco 49ers' 17-3 pre-season victory over Oakland.
Kendall Hunter carried the ball nine times for 105 yards and a touchdown, and former New York Jets receiver Braylon Edwards hauled down two passes for 46 yards for the 49ers.
Tight end Vernon Davis made two catches for 19 yards and former Philadelphia Eagles kicker David Akers booted a 23-yard field goal for the winners.
Oakland's Jason Campbell went 5-of-7 for 74 yards but left with an injury in the second quarter after taking a sack.
Michael Bush ran six times for 26 yards and Darrius Heyward-Bey made two catches for 40 yards for the Raiders.
