NFL: Houston 27, New Orleans 14

HOUSTON, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Arian Foster scored twice and Ben Tate racked up 95 rushing yards Saturday, propelling the Houston Texans to a 27-14 win over New Orleans.

Foster rushed five times for 47 yards and ended the Texans' seven-play, 72-yard opening drive with a 2-yard touchdown carry.

He added a 28-yard scoring scamper on Houston's second possession.

Matt Schaub played most of the first half, going 12-of-16 through the air for 163 yards. Andre Johnson reeled in four balls for 100 yards.

Drew Brees, who fumbled on the Saints' first possession, finished 7-for-14 for 109 yards and backup Chase Daniel later connected with Joe Morgan for a 56-yard touchdown strike.

Mark Ingram ran seven times for 25 yards and a score for New Orleans.
