FRISCO, Texas, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Mauro Rosales got the only goal of the game in the 16th minute Saturday for a 1-0 Seattle Sounders win over FC Dallas.

Rosales ran down the right side of the field on the game-winning play, collecting a Fredy Montero through-ball before firing a shot past Dallas goalie Kevin Hartman at the near post.

With the win, Seattle (12-5-9) leapfrogged Dallas into second place in the Western Conference standings with 45 points.

FC Dallas (12-7-7), meanwhile, suffered its second loss in three games.
