Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
COMMERCE CITY, Colo., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Laurent Courtois netted the equalizer late in the game Saturday, boosting Chivas USA into a 2-2 draw with Colorado.
Courtois erased a 2-1 deficit in the 86th minute when Michael Lahoud found him with a pass in the box and he poked the ball past Colorado goalie Matt Pickens to give the Goats (7-8-10) a point.
Juan Pablo Angel also found the net in his Goats debut, collecting a Nick LaBrocca through ball and firing a shot past Pickens in the 36th minute to make it 1-1.
Caleb Folan and Jeff Larentowicz tallied for the Rapids (10-6-11), who remained undefeated in six games.
