BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Dominic Oduro and Dan Gargan each found the net Sunday, boosting the Chicago Fire to a 2-0 victory over Toronto FC.

Oduro gave the Fire all the offense they would need in the 16th minute, slipping in front of a defender and using the outside of his right foot to put a shot past Toronto goalkeeper Milos Kocic.

Gargan added an insurance goal in the 69th with a header off a corner kick, securing the win for the Fire (3-7-15), which logged its first MLS victory in more than two months.

The rare triumph allowed Chicago to bypass Toronto (4-12-11) and the New England Revolution and move into seventh place in the Eastern Conference.
