
PITTSBURGH, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Neil Walker provided three hits and drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh Saturday, sparking the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 5-3 decision over Cincinnati.
With the score tied 3-3 in the seventh, Andrew McCutchen singled with one out off Aroldis Chapman (2-1) and Ryan Ludwick drew a walk, setting the stage for Walker's run-scoring single to right.
Brandon Wood followed with another RBI single and the Pirates took the middle contest of a three-game series.
Tony Watson (1-2) earned the win after stranding Ramon Hernandez (RBI double) at second base in the top of the frame, ending a Reds uprising.
Joel Hanrahan rebounded from a blown save Friday to record the game's final three outs, racking up his 31st save of the season.
Joey Votto went 2-for-2 with two walks and a pair of RBI for Cincinnati.
