DENVER, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Dexter Fowler's two-out RBI single in the 13th inning rallied the Colorado Rockies to a 7-6 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers Saturday.
The Rockies had found themselves down 6-4 in the bottom of the 12th after Aaron Miles socked a solo homer and Trent Oeltjen followed with an inside-the-park round-tripper off Colorado's Matt Reynolds.
But Colorado came back with two runs of its own in the next half-inning on RBI from Todd Helton (3-for-5, two RBI) and Eliezer Alfonzo.
Mark Ellis lined a double off Blake Hawksworth (2-4) with two out in the 13th and Fowler followed by stroking a hit down the left field line for the game-winner, evening the Rockies' three-game set with the Dodgers.
J.C. Romero (1-0) earned the victory with a scoreless top of the 13th.
Matt Kemp finished 3-for-5 with an RBI for the Dodgers, who banged out 17 hits.
