
ATLANTA, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Dan Uggla homered twice and Martin Prado delivered three hits with an RBI Saturday in the Atlanta Braves' 8-1 victory over Arizona.
Uggla drove in three runs and went deep back-to-back with Freddie Freeman in the seventh inning off Arizona's Zach Duke.
Michael Bourn added two hits, scored twice, and made a highlight-reel catch at the wall for the National League wild card-leading Braves, who won their third straight and fifth in six games.
Brandon Beachy (6-2) stretched his unbeaten streak to six starts, striking out seven batters over six innings.
The Braves spoiled the major league debut of 24-year-old left-hander Wade Miley (0-1), who yielded seven hits and five runs over four-plus innings.
Arizona remained 2 1/2 games ahead of second-place San Francisco in the NL West.
