BALTIMORE, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Kansas City Chiefs Coach Todd Haley refused to comment on a report first-round draft choice Jonathan Baldwin was injured in a fight with a teammate Friday.

Haley would only tell the media that injuries were "family business" and that he did not "understand the question" when asked if the reported scuffle with running back Thomas Jones was the reason Baldwin did not play in the Chiefs' 31-13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Kansas City Star said Saturday.

"Jonathan Baldwin did not play tonight due to injury," said Haley. "As I say in here a bunch, that's the extent of what we're going to talk about."

ESPN.com reported that, according to a source on the team, Baldwin hurt his wrist in a locker room clash with Jones and could be out for the remainder of the preseason.

Baldwin was selected 26th overall in the draft out of the University of Pittsburgh. He averaged 18 yards per catch for the Panthers.
