EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Aug. 19 (UPI) -- New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora will miss up to four weeks of playing time following surgery Friday in his right knee, the NFL team said.
Umenyiora, 29 and in his ninth NFL season, is expected to be out 3-4 weeks after an arthroscopic procedure called a "simple debridement," Giants Vice President of Medical Services Ronnie Barnes said.
