
SEATTLE, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Homers by Edwin Encarnacion, Adam Lind and Colby Rasmus accounted for all the Toronto runs Wednesday and brought the Blue Jays a 5-1 win over Seattle.
Encarnacion hit a solo shot in the second, Lind produced a three-run blast in the third and Rasmus had a solo homer in the fourth to give the Blue Jays their second win in a row and their fourth in five games.
Lind's homer was his 22nd of the season and gives him 80 over the last three years.
Brandon Morrow (9-7) struck out a dozen in just six innings to get the win. He gave up three hits and the lone Seattle run in the sixth.
Three Toronto relievers combined for three hitless innings.
All the home runs came off starter Blake Beaven (3-4), who worked five innings in taking the loss.
