Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

SEATTLE, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Colby Rasmus and Aaron Hill had four RBI apiece Tuesday to pace the Toronto Blue Jays in their 13-7 win at Seattle.
The Jays racked up 15 hits, including a two-run homer by Jose Bautista, his 35th home run of the season.
Luis Perez (2-2) notched the victory after coming out of the bullpen in relief of starter Brad Mills, who left the game after three innings with the score tied 3-3.
The Jays scored four runs in the fifth and three in the sixth to take control.
Jason Vargas (7-11) took the loss for Seattle. He allowed eight runs on seven hits in four-plus innings.
The Mariners had 11 hits in the game including home runs by Casper Wells and Miguel Olivo. Kyle Seager and Trayvon Robinson had two RBI apiece.
