MLB: Chicago Cubs 6, Atlanta 5

ATLANTA, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Carlos Pena belted a go-ahead homer Sunday, rallying the Chicago Cubs to a 6-5 win over Atlanta in a game that saw Dan Uggla's hitting streak halted.

Trailing 5-4 in the seventh, Darwin Barney led off with a single off Eric O'Flaherty (1-4) and one out later Pena homered to right, putting Chicago on top to stay.

Pena also hit a sacrifice to trigger a four-run sixth in which the Cubs erased a 4-0 deficit. Tyler Colvin contributed a two-run single during the rally, which helped give Chicago a win in the rubber match of a three-game series.

John Grabow (3-0) earned the victory despite allowing the Braves to take a 5-4 lead on his own throwing error. Carlos Marmol racked up his 28th save with a scoreless ninth.

Atlanta's Uggla went 0-for-3 to end his 33-game hitting streak. He was robbed of a bloop single in the fifth when Cubs second baseman Barney made a diving stab to catch his pop fly.
