MIAMI, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Tim Lincecum pitched seven shutout innings Saturday, fanning 10 batters en route to the San Francisco Giants' 3-0 win over Florida.
Lincecum (11-9) was dominating, yielding just two hits while walking three as the Giants, who are in second place in the National League West, improved to just 4-8 in August.
Jeff Keppinger socked a solo homer in the first inning. The blast was the Giants' 21st straight bases-empty shot, a major league record.
Brian Wilson garnered his 35th save of the year despite putting two runners on base in the ninth.
Florida's Javier Vazquez (7-10) equaled Lincecum in the strikeout department, also fanning 10 hitters. But he also yielded three runs on five hits and two wild pitches.
The Marlins lost for the eighth time in nine games.
