NFL: New England 47, Jacksonville 12

FOXBOROUGH, Mass., Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Rookie Steven Ridley scored twice on the ground and once through the air Thursday to send New England sailing to a 47-12 exhibition win over Jacksonville.

Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady sat out the game but New England still showed plenty of offense, with 476 total yards. The two recent high-profile Patriots' acquisitions -- receiver Chad Ochocinco and defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth -- also had the night off.
