HOUSTON, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- The NBA reportedly has chosen Houston as the site of its 2013 All-Star Game, the third time the Texas city has been selected to host the festivities.

Houston and the hometown Rockets last hosted the NBA All-Stars in 2006 and the 2013 contest will be held Feb. 17 at Toyota Center, the Houston Chronicle reported Thursday.

The league has not made a formal announcement yet.

"It's a done deal," a source told the newspaper on condition of anonymity. "We're just waiting for the NBA to make the announcement."

The 1989 All-Star Game was held at the Astrodome drawing a then-record crowd of 4,735. The 2012 All-Star game is scheduled to be played in Orlando, Fla., if the NBA lockout ends.
